"There was no doubt... this Single Malt had a backbone that could handle sherry casks. But it was also true that the floral notes seemed to lend themselves to something a bit different and so Cognac had enough intensity to tame its power and enough subtlety to complement the floral fruitness. On the palate, peaty with a complex estery note: Fragrant aromas of mango, citrus and vanilla leading to flavors of peaches and raisins. Finishing off with honey and juniper berries."
